Happy Thanksgiving! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!

I've decided holidays as an adult are not near as fun as holidays as a kid. They sure keep you a lot busier!

Now that I have a good half hour to update the blog, let's get started with Thanksgiving. This year we went to Katie & Mark's house for dinner. As always, my job was sweet potatoes and rolls. Such a good dinner! But somehow, no pictures.

We did get pictures this year for the Christmas card at FotoFly. It was a lovely day to go down to Thanksgiving Point for their SantaFly. Essentially the dads all get to dress as Santa, so the kids aren't terrified. That's Luke in these pics!

On to Luke's Birthday! We kicked off his 31st year with a family dinner at Buca di Beppo. We sat at the Pope table! It was a great time and we had lots of fun.

After all that partying, little girl needed a bath before the Persons clan came to town!

Mom, Dad, and Deanna drove over from Colorado for a long weekend. We chilled at their hotel, since the snow was coming down pretty heavy. We ventured out one day for some Christmas shopping, but mostly we hung out, ate good food, had good conversation, and played some games. This was also a good time to get us all together for family photos!

Once the family left, we geared up for Christmas. Christmas Eve, John came over and we had a big dinner, put together a puzzle, watched "Elf" and opened presents. It was nice and chill, and past all our bedtimes by the time we said goodnight.

Christmas Day is always hectic. We got up early to go across the street to exchange gifts with DeeDee and Errol. Then it was off to the Fox house for brunch and more presents. After some yummy casseroles and cookies, we sped home to start getting ready for the evening party. Luckily, Luke was nice enough to make the brownies we needed to take so Allie and I could take a quick nap.

After Skype with the parents and both Grandmas, we got ready and headed to Sally's house for the big family party. Of course, Allie was a big hit, being the only girl baby. And silly Momma forgot to put the SD card back in her camera, so these are the photos Grandma got.

And those were the holidays! New Year's Eve was very low key for us. We didn't even watch the ball drop. Luke played some Starcraft while Allie and I worked on that puzzle from Christmas Eve. I just finished that thing last weekend. Lots of blue and fur in that Coca Cola puzzle!

More to come, as we have more adventures. I need to get my camera charged up and be better about posting this year. At least once a week. See you next weekend! (Oh, and GO BRONCOS!)
